A.SPIRE is the European Association which is committed to manage and implement the Processes4Planet co-programmed Partnership. It represents innovative process industries, constituting 20% of the total European manufacturing sector in terms of employment and turnover. A.SPIRE encompasses over 170 industrial and research process stakeholders from more than 20 countries across Europe. It brings together sectors including cement, ceramics, chemicals, engineering, minerals and ores, non-ferrous metals, pulp and paper, refining, steel, and water, many of which are world-leading sectors operating within Europe.

The mission of A.SPIRE is to ensure the development of enabling technologies and best practices along all the stages of large-scale existing value chain productions that will contribute to a resource-efficient process industry.
